Pork Adobo


2 lbs pork belly
5 pieces dried bay leaves
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 cup soy sauce
4 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp whole pepper corn
1 cup water


  1. Combine the pork belly with soy sauce, and garlic
  2. Marinade for 1 hour or more
  3. Put-in the marinated pork belly in hot pan and cook for a few minutes
  4. Add water, pepper corn, and dried bay leaves
  5. Simmer for 40 minutes to 1 hour
  6. Put vinegar
  7. Simmer for 12 to 15 minutes
  8. Add salt to taste
